I ask you: when have you ever had a conversation about Stolypin's agrarian reforms? Or the Bruslitov Offensive (I don't actually know what that is, but it's THERE, written in my notes)? Or even the Crimean War?
And if so, HOW did you have this conversation without boreing yourself to death?
I want to kill myself already and I've revised for approximatley 33 minutes. Many of which were staring at the clock.
I must say though, I've fallen in love with Russian fashion. I.e. Those continuing Russian dolls which go on and on? Though I don't really think Russian people wear them. Which is sad. Wouldn't it be cool if we all dressed like our country? German people dressed as sausages, the French dressed in black with a cigarette, a beret and a baguette, Russians with communist hats and russian doll accesories, Swedish people in viking gear... Anyway I'm digressing. (And being perhaps a bit stereotypical).
But yes... dolls and what not. What cool accesories, non? I even have a Russian Doll bag I discovered in Primark (made from Straw as well... killing two birds with one stone, etcetc). I couldn't be bothered to take a picture and have found it on eBay. IT'S £8 ON EBAY! I bought it for £4. I should be on Bargain hunt. Anyway, isn't it amazing?
And with further searches I have found MORE delights concerning Russian Dolls. If you see the following one, from ladyluckrulesok, they've put Anastasia on it! How very Russian of them. Well. Apart from the fact that's the only famous Russian woman which most people could think of, who isn't a model in the 21st cenutry or a dictator. I doubt having "Lenin" or "Brezhnev" would've had the same affect really.
Chanel also made one and now lots of high street brands are frauding them. Tutut. and by frauding, I mean, copying. In a good way, though. Because now they're cheaper... and I don't really like the Chanel one anyway. The Telegraph described it as "Chanel Starts a Russian Revolution", and you have to admit, that's pretty witty. I've actually just read through this article and will attach some of the best ones.
I want that ring. A LOT.
Yup, I just spent an hour or so researching Russian Dolls. Could I get away with talking about that in my history exam? Er...

What have you got to say about this?
